I'm a fourth year student here at Cal studying chemistry. I work with Professor John Arnold on the synthesis and characterization of actinide aryl complexes, and with Professor Jeff Reimer on pulsed field gradient NMR spectroscopy measurements of diffusion in simple liquid mixtures. In addition to research (and classes), I work at the College of Chemistry's NMR spectroscopy facility, and am an active member of the professional chemistry fraternity on campus, ΑΧΣ. When I'm not doing any of that, you can find me in coffee shops around Berkeley, cooking with my friends, or exploring the bay area. In addition to tutoring for courses, I'm always happy to talk about my experiences here at Berkeley and give advice on anything from life to what courses to take. I'm also particularly keen on discussing NMR, and am happy to field questions about the subject, from more basic things like understanding J-couplings to advanced topics like the applications of multidimensional NMR experiments in contemporary chemical research.
