UC files appeal to revive CRISPR patent interference

Emmanuelle Charpentier, Jennifer Doudna  receiving 2017 Japan PrizeThe University of California, along with the University of Vienna and Emmanuelle Charpentier,  yesterday filed its opening brief with the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit in Washington, D.C.(link is external), in support of its appeal of the U.S. Patent Trial and Appeal Board's (PTAB) decision in the CRISPR-Cas9 interference.
