The UC Berkeley College of Chemistry is thrilled to announce its 2026 Summer Undergraduate Research Diversity (SURD) program for undergraduate students interested in Chemistry, Chemical Biology and/or Chemical & Biomolecular Engineering.
Who
- We aim to provide research opportunities to students who may have had limited access to opportunities to pursue undergraduate research.
- Undergraduates from HBCU's and HSI's are encouraged to apply!
- Undergraduates from 4-year universities & community colleges are encouraged to apply.
- Must be 18 & over
- No prior experience necessary!

- 10 Weeks (June 9-August 15, 2026)
- 40 hours/week
- $6000 stipend
- Housing, Food & Travel Allowance provided
