Industrial Recruitment for 2024 will be open from May 12th to August 22nd. We offer both in-person and virtual recruitment. In-person recruitment will incur a flat $2000 at-cost facility fee, which provides you a maximum of 8 hours access to 1-2 rooms and a parking spot. Virtual recruitment will incur a $100 data fee. 50% of any fees are due at the time you make your reservation as a deposit.

Initial Steps (In-Person Recruitment)
Whether you are looking to host an in-person info session and/or in-person interviews, email the following information to the Industrial Recruiter at least 3-4 weeks before your proposed date(s) of recruitment.
- The company or group you represent
- Two or three potential visit dates between May 12th and August 22nd 2024
- A flyer or prepared job description for distribution
- Room requirements i.e. (Room capacity, A/V requirements, length of stay, etc).
- Parking needs (We can accommodate one parking space per visiting group)
- Whether you want to use our cloud digital storage service to gather resumes, CVs, and research summaries or whether you want to receive those directly from students and postdocs.
- Pay 50% of the fees.
Initial Steps (Virtual Recruitment)
Email the following information to the Industrial Recruiter at least 3-4 weeks before your proposed date(s) of recruitment.
- The company or group you represent
- Two or three potential visit dates
- A flyer or prepared job description for distribution
- Whether you want to use our box service to gather resumes, CVs, and research summaries or whether you want to receive those directly.
- Pay 50% of the fees.
Scheduling Interviews (In-Person and Virtual)
We ask that all industrial recruiters handle their own interview scheduling directly with the applicants. If you'd like, we can provide a virtual UC Berkeley sponsored "Box" for graduate students to submit resumes and research summaries.

Scheduling Faculty Visits (In Person and Virtual)

Email Announcement Schedule (In Person and Virtual)
Once your visit is finalized, we will communicate with our students according to the following schedule.
- Initial notice issued 2-3 weeks ahead of time with your general information, including a box directory or email address to send resumes
- A 2nd reminder a week or so before your visit
- A 3rd and final reminder within 1-2 days of your visit.
On the Day of your Arrival (In Person)
When you arrive, please check-in at 419 Latimer, which is on the fourth floor of Latimer Hall to the left as you exit the elevators. The Industrial Recruiter will escort you to your meeting room.
Catering (In Person)
If you are interested in catering, we ask that you make your own arrangement.

In addition, the department is not responsible for leftover food from your visit. We can, however, email graduate students that such leftovers are available.
