Henry Lam is a fourth year chemistry major from Elk Grove, California. He is currently involved in the Fleming Group studying a photoprotection mechanism in higher plants known as non-photochemical quenching through time-resolved fluorescence spectroscopy. One thing he appreciates about chemistry is its ubiquity in other disciplines such as biology and physics. In his free time he loves collecting fossils, birdwatching, and venturing into Berkeley’s various halls/libraries.
