Radke wins UW chemE award

Clayton RadkeDepartment of Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering Professor Clayton Radke has won the University of Washington Department of Chemical Engineering 2015 R. Wells Moulton Distinguished Alumnus Medal.

Since 1993, the award has been given to alumni who have made exceptional contributions in engineering industry, faculty service in academia, and government, public or volunteer service.

The award will be presented in Seattle on April 17 at the U.W. Chemical Engineering Awards Day, where Radke will give an address.

Radke earned his chemical engineering B.S. from U.W. in 1966, and his Chemical engineering Ph.D. with John Prausnitz at Berkeley in 1971.

Says Radke, “I am surprised and deeply honored. My university experience at U.W. was wonderful. Even today, I remember fondly the details of the old unit operations laboratory that was then in Bagley Hall.”
