A team of College of Chemistry educators has been selected as one of the 2015 recipients of the Award for Incorporating Sustainability into Chemistry Education, sponsored by the American Chemical Society’s Committee on Environmental Improvement (ACS-CEI).

The team members, all professors or lecturers in the chemistry department, are John Arnold, Anne Baranger, Michelle Douskey, MaryAnn Robak and Angelica Stacy. The awardees will present invited talks on their work as part of a symposium at the ACS Spring 249th National Meeting to be held in March 2015, in Denver, CO.

The ACS-CEI award is part of the ACS’s goal to “advance the broader chemistry enterprise and its practitioners for the benefit of Earth and its people.”
