College of Chemistry Student Emergency Needs Fund

During the COVID-19 pandemic, the College of Chemistry and the Undergraduate Student Services (CoCUSS) team would like to help lower barriers to your success brought on by the COVID-19 crisis. We have created a Student Emergency Needs Fund to assist CoC undergrads who are dealing with sudden unexpected financial hardships. 

Tutoring

CoC Peer Tutoring is now online via Zoom. We are making this change in light of recent campus initiatives regarding online instruction. Tutors will be available on Zoom 10am – 5pm every weekday. The schedule of tutors and their hours has not changed, and can be found here. To get help, go to:

Dr. Yu Bi / Counseling & Psychological Services

Dr. Bi is available for counseling and consultation by phone. If you want to make an appointment, please call (510) 664-7723 and leave a voice mail with your name, student ID number, and contact number. Dr. Bi will reply via phone and e-tang message to set up a phone appointment with you. 

Rachana Vyas / Career Counseling Services

Rachana Vyas will be available for 30 minute appointments via phone/video. You will be given the option for phone or video appointment on Handshake.  As a friendly reminder, Rachana can assist with questions about career exploration, internship/job search strategies, resume reviews, interview prep, and more.
