Xavier is a fourth year Chemical Biology major from San Diego, California. He is currently involved in cancer drug discovery research in the Nomura Research Group and polyketide synthase bioinformatics research in the Keasling Lab. Outside of class, Xavier is an officer for the Berkeley chapter of the American Chemical Society and leads a DeCal course on laboratory molecular biology techniques. In his free time, he enjoys hiking, reading about contemporary history, and browsing Wikipedia. Feel free to drop by and chat with Xavier about anything!
