Current Job: Associate Scientist, Gilead Sciences Inc., Foster City, CA
Scott is a process development scientist with a background in chemical and bioprocess engineering (UCSD, UC Berkeley). He supports early- and late-stage cell culture development for biologics, including clone screening, tox runs, and IND-enabling activities. At Boehringer Ingelheim, he gained hands-on experience with CHO cell culture across multiple scales and led efforts in process characterization, validation, and FMEA. With a foundation in R&D from SpaceX and strong skills in study design and data analysis, Scott aims to become a senior SME in biologics development, contributing to IND authorship and large-scale manufacturing support.
