Bio/CV:
Paul received his education in chemical and biochemical engineering, including his PhD degree from Cornell University. He had worked on cell culture (CHO cells) ever since the 1980s. At Bayer Paul headed both cell culture and primary recovery process development functions. He is proud of the Bayer team that made the recombinant Factor VIII both a scientific and commercial success, serving hemophiliac patients worldwide. With his extensive experience in developing mAb and cell therapy programs Paul is grateful for the tremendous progress made by the mammalian cell culture community.
