Undergraduate Information: News and Dates: Important Dates - Spring 2008

For College of Chemistry Undergraduates
October 22 - November 12 Tele-BEARS Phase I - During this phase you may enroll in up to 10.5 units
November 13 - January 13 Tele-BEARS Phase II - During this phase you may enroll in the remainder of your courses
January 14 Tele-BEARS Adjustment Period begins
January 15 Deadline for payment of registration fees
January 21 Martin Luther King, Jr. Holiday
January 22 Instruction Begins
February 1 Deadline to drop Early Drop Deadline (EDD) courses
After February 1 There is a $10 fee for dropping a course
After February 8

Course drops and grading option changes must be submitted via petition to your staff adviser in 420 Latimer Hall.

Course adds that have been approved by your staff adviser can still be processed using Tele-BEARS.

There is a $5 fee for adding a course.
February 18 President's Day Holiday
February 18-21 IMPORTANT!  Look at your class schedule on Bear Facts to verify that you are enrolled in the correct courses

Deadline to drop non-EDD courses

Deadline to change grading option from P/NP to letter grade

IF YOU DROP A COURSE AFTER THIS DATE (VIA DEAN'S EXCEPTION), A PERMANENT NOTATION WILL APPEAR ON YOUR TRANSCRIPT
March 24-28 Spring Recess
April 4 Deadline to change grading option from letter grade to P/NP
May 12 Instruction Ends
May 15-22 Final Exams
May 24 Commencement Ceremony
