Important Dates - Spring 2010

For College of Chemistry Undergraduates
October 19 - November 10 Tele-BEARS Phase I - During this phase you may enroll in up to 10.5 units
November 12 - January 10 Tele-BEARS Phase II - During this phase you may enroll in additional courses
January 11 Tele-BEARS Adjustment Period begins
January 15 Deadline for payment of registration fees
January 18 Martin Luther King, Jr. Holiday
January 19 Instruction Begins
January 29 Deadline to drop Early Drop Deadline (EDD) courses
After January 29 There is a $10 fee for dropping a course
February 5 Deadline to declare Spring 2010 degree candidacy without a fee.
Fee thereafter, $5.
After February 5 Course drops and grading option changes must be submitted via petition to your staff adviser in 420 Latimer Hall.

Course adds
that have been approved by your staff adviser can still be processed using Tele-BEARS.

There is a $5 fee for adding a course.
February 15 President's Day Holiday
February 15-18 IMPORTANT!  Look at your class schedule on Bear Facts to verify that you are enrolled in the correct courses
February 19 Deadline to add courses

Deadline to change grading option from P/NP to letter grade


Deadline to drop non-EDD courses

IF YOU DROP A COURSE AFTER THIS DATE (VIA DEAN'S EXCEPTION), A PERMANENT NOTATION WILL APPEAR ON YOUR TRANSCRIPT
March 22-26 Spring Recess
April 2 Deadline to change grading option from letter grade to P/NP
April 30 Formal Classes End
May 3-7 Reading/Review/Recitation Period
May 10-14 Final Exams
TBA Commencement Ceremony
