Publishing Websites

Before you can publish a group or course website, please familiarize yourself with the university policies on publishing web pages. To publish web pages, you will need several things: a College account (user name, password, and associated directory on the Web server), an SFTP program, HTML knowledge, and authoring tools. Here's where to get them:

What You Need Where to Get It
College Account Email the Server Administrator. For group sites, include the three initials of the professor's name.

UC Berkeley Website Templates Templates from the Public Affairs web team are intended to provide nearly everything you'll need to create or redesign your UC Berkeley-affiliated website with the look and feel of the new campus gateway site — you just supply the content.
