How to maintain your files on the Staging Server
Login to stage.cchem.berkeley.edu and make changes to your web pages there.
Your web pages are in a subdirectory called public_html. Use one of the applications below or any program that supports secure ftp. The contents of stage will be synchronized to the Colleges’ production web server,
www.cchem.berkeley.edu, every half hour.
To see your changes on stage, go to http://stage.cchem.Berkeley.edu/~XXX where 'XXX' is your account name. After stage has been synced with the production server, go to http://www.cchem.berkeley.edu/XXX (without the tilde).
