When and where can I rent and pick up my regalia?

You may rent your regalia at the Graduation Department of the Cal Student Store beginning February 26 and continuing through May. If you wish to purchase additional graduation related items, Cal Student Store is offering various graduation packages beginning February 26 that include items such as announcements, thank you cards, diploma cover, etc., and regalia rental. If you order a graduation package, you receive all items at a discount. Contact the Cal Student Store Graduation Department (510-642-7028) for more information and hours of operation.

How much does it cost?

Bachelor: $40.00 + tax (includes gown rental, and purchase of cap & tassel)

Master: $65.00 + tax (includes gown and hood rental, and purchase of cap & tassel)

Doctor: $44.00 + tax (includes gown rental, and purchase of cap & tassel)

Ph.D. degree candidates: You will be hooded as part of the ceremony; therefore, your hood will be rented for you by the College. DO NOT RENT A HOOD!

When and where do I return my regalia?

If you do not return your regalia by June 1, you will be charged a progressive late fee. When you pick up your regalia, you will be informed of where to return it.
