As
AIChE President, I impressed fellow
students from around the world by citing
how the researchers they were talking
about were people I encountered at
Cal everyday. Yes, I will miss all
of you, from the most awarded professor
to the newest transfer student. Thanks
for being my ChemE family!

The
people Ive met at Berkeley have
been the best. The students have many
interests beyond their academic subject,
which has made being here enriching
and fun. I've also loved living in
as exciting an area as Berkeley and
the surrounding Bay Area.

I
am very grateful to Dr. Paul Plouffe,
who took time outside of class to help
me (and others) with preparing resumés
and giving career and job search advice.
And the spring AIChE banquet was a
blast!

Its
crazy to think about all that I learned
during my time at Berkeley. This school
has taken me far beyond all I had hoped
to achieve, and Im really going
to miss it.

Being
an undergraduate chemistry major here
has opened my eyes to how exciting
chemistry can be. I owe a lot of my
learning to the many graduate student
instructors who patiently and entertainingly
taught us on the board and in lab.

I
have really appreciated the other
graduate students in this department.
They have been generous with their
time, willing to help me with my
work or talk about research, and
are great people to be around.
