- Centers for Excellence
The College
has several new "Centers of Excellence" which are designed to enhance
the educational experience of students and the ability to attract
funds for infrastructure and equipment. The centers offer exciting
new opportunities for students in the College to interact with industrial
partners as well as with other research groups.

floor plans for the basement of Gilman Hall, soon to house the research
groups in the new Kenneth S. Pitzer Center for Theoretical Chemistry.
